American Councils engages in advocacy as an essential activity of the organization. We promote policies and programs that we believe will further our stated mission to governmental officials, professional colleagues and the general public.
Our advocacy activities are focused primarily on the US federal government. We maintain an ongoing public education and lobbying relationship with key public policy decision makers, including leaders within the Executive Branch, members of Congress and their staffs.
