Upcoming Issues

Volume 71
(March 2021)

The issue is expected to be published in March 2021 and will be dedicated to Digital Humanities. It is co-edited by Thomas Garza (tjgarza@austin.utexas.edu) and Robert Reynolds (robert_reynolds@byu.edu).
The contents of this volume will relate to the intersection of any treatment, field, or methodology of Digital Humanities with the topics that fall under the scope of the RLJ, including Russian language, culture, and the acquisition of Russian as a second language.

Volume 72
(Summer 2021)

A digital-only Volume 72 is planned to be published in the summer of 2021 and will focus on the challenges and practices of online language instruction which became the new "normal" due to COVID pandemic. This issue is co-edited by Liudmila Klimanova (klimanova@arizona.edu), Shannon Spasova (spasova@msu.edu), and Jason Merrill (merril25@msu.edu).

Volume 73
(December 2021)

The issue is planned to be published in December 2021. Given recent conversations in the field and ACTR’s statement concerning systemic racism and police brutality in the United States (https://www.actr.org/equity-and-racism-letter.html), the RLJ is dedicating a special issue to the topic of diversity, equity, access and inclusion. The contents will focus on addressing any aspect of DEAI in language study, instruction, and/or curriculum. This special issue of RLJ is curated by Colleen Lucey (Assistant Professor, University of Arizona, (luceyc@arizona.edu) in coordination with RLJ Editor Jennifer Bown (Professor, Brigham Young University).
