Join us for a follow-up teachers' lounge in conversation with Ben Rifkin and Manuela Wagner's workshop: "Teaching for Compassion in the Russian-Language Curriculum."

Join us for a discussion of activities and projects that help students develop a sense of compassion. Have there been times in your teaching when you could see evidence of students feeling and acting on compassion? What learning activities can help students find pathways to experiences of this type?  Have you experimented with ways of assessing that give credit for demonstration of skills or behavior that reflect compassion? This Teachers' Lounge follows up on the February 5 workshop by Ben Rifkin and Manuela Wagner, but attendance at the workshop is not required: all are encouraged to join this informal  discussion. Bring your own ideas to share and learn from instructors in a variety of Russian language teaching contexts.
