Which grammar concepts never seem to stick beyond the textbook exercises? What impactful strategies have seemed to move the needle? The goal of this final Teachers’ Lounge of the 2026 academic year is to identify barriers and to share effective strategies for teaching tricky grammar.
Participants may come with either a challenge for the group to ponder together or with a desire to share a challenge and an impactful strategy to address it. Contributions to the discussion may take the form of prepared 3-5-minute mini-presentations or may emerge spontaneously during the discussion.
Discussion moderated by Lee Roby, Friends School of Baltimore.
If you are a graduate student (non-member) requesting a registration fee waiver, email the committee co-chairs to get your registration code at eroby@friendsbalt.org or ikogel@bu.edu.
